The City of Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Revenue Services Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Division. This position will report to, and work closely with, the Assistant Director of Finance to accomplish established goals, programs, and adopted work plans. The Revenue Services Manager will be responsible for managing city-wide revenue collections including utility billing, fee collection and billing, parking meter and parking citation collection issues, tax collection, and various other revenue-related operations and services and oversees a dedicated staff of 10. This role requires an individual that is self-motivated and excited by the opportunity to improve processes to gain new efficiencies. A key priority for this role is the enhancement of division services and reexamining existing processes with a focus on strengthening inter- and intradepartmental relationships and developing staff. The Revenue Services Manager will also ensure the provision of excellent customer service, providing timely, responsive services to internal and external customers.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, Economics, or other related field is preferred. Five years of recent work experience in performing complex accounting, budgeting, financial administration, and technical decision-making responsibilities for significant levels of cash flow or revenue. At least two of the five years of the work experience must include supervisory and customer service management responsibilities. Experience in and/or working with a public agency is highly desirable.
The annual salary range for this position is $119,648 to $148,648. The City offers an attractive benefit package including CalPERS retirement.
