The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) is seeking a talented and accomplished candidate with a highly successful track record of developing and delivering major highway and capital projects to serve as the Project Delivery Director. The position will report to the Executive Director to develop and deliver key highway and commuter rail projects throughout the County. The Project Delivery Director provides oversight in the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of highway and rail projects from the planning, environmental, design, right of way, and construction phases, ensuring consistency with RCTC strategy, policies, and goals. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining RCTC policies and procedures related to project delivery; supervising the work of program and project management staff and consultants; planning and providing for the maintenance of Commission-owned rail stations and other facilities; and providing highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the Executive Director.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of broad and progressively responsible experience in transportation project development, delivery, and program/project management, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience. This position requires a valid registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of California.

The annual salary range for this position is $194,868 to $263,076 and will be DOQ. RCTC offers a competitive benefits program, including CalPERS retirement.
