The City of Irvine is seeking a hands-on professional with a proven track record of contract and project management skills to serve as the next Information Technology Project Manager (Information Technology Administrator). Reporting to the CIO, the IT Project Manager will be the acting technical advisor to the City to ensure municipal services are supported by technology solutions that are reliable, modern, and affordable. The selected candidate will work closely with contract staff to evaluate the technology needs of the organization on an ongoing basis; make recommendations for changes and improvements; ensure compliance with service standards and quality of work; and oversee all related financial transactions. In addition, the individual will be responsible for implementing the Strategic Technology Plan, which provides for the necessary maintenance and/or replacement of hardware and software, while also taking a proactive approach toward recognizing and adapting to evolving changes in technology. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience at the level of IT Business Analyst, Senior Systems Analyst, or equivalent is required. The annual salary range for this position is $99,528 to $156,520, dependent on qualifications. The City also offers an attractive benefits package including CalPERS Retirement.
