The City of Palm Desert is looking for a forward-thinking HR professional to join the City’s leadership cadre as their new Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager is a newly created position in the City of Palm Desert intended to give added focus and capabilities to the City’s human resources function. The HR Manager will report to the Assistant City Manager and will serve a key role in the city’s overall leadership team.
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, human resources management, labor relations, organizational development, or a related field.
The salary range for the Human Resources Manager is +/- $140,000, with placement in the range dependent on qualifications.
