The City of Beverly Hills is offering an outstanding career opportunity for a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Community Services to join this world-class organization. With an annual budget of approximately $475.5 million for all funds and approximately 1,080 full-time and part-time employees, the City of Beverly Hills has a long-standing reputation for providing superior customer service to residents, businesses, and visitors. Reporting to the City Manager, the Director of Community Services directs the Community Services Department which is comprised of the four divisions of Administrative Support, Human Services, Library, and Recreation and Parks. The Director of Community Services also directs the development and implementation of innovative programs, projects and services to enhance the community cultural, educational, leisure, and library services. A Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of increasingly responsible experience in public administration; cultural, recreational, parks, community, and/or library services; or related services and programs including at least 3 years of administrative and supervisory experience. A Master’s degree is preferred. Annual salary for this position will be $184,716 to $230,892 plus an excellent benefits package, including CalPERS retirement.
