Ontario International Airport Authority (“OIAA” or “Authority”) is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO reports to the Deputy Executive Director of OIAA, serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, and is responsible for overseeing the Authority’s financial operations. The CFO is a key advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and the OIAA commission on financial matters pertaining to the achievement of financial objectives enabling OIAA to optimize its operating efficiency and maximize its profits. The CFO has primary responsibility for OIAA’s financial functions including accounting, cash management, financing, procurement, risk management and other matters. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced financial professional with a track record of accomplishment, preferably with a commercial airport. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree and CPA are highly desirable. Ten years of progressively responsible and recent professional management experience in finance or accounting for a comparable agency including experience involving budget, personnel management, and interagency coordination is required. Minimum of three years of this experience must be at the supervisory level. Work experience in the Southern California region is a plus. Ability to pass extensive background and reference checks including TSA security screening, knowledge examinations, and aptitude tests is necessary to obtain an OIAA employee badge at ONT. Due to the potential for global response from candidates in the airport sector, proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required at time of hire.
OIAA provides a competitive compensation and benefits package. The current annual salary range for the position of Chief Financial Officer is DOQ and is anticipated that the starting annual salary offered will be mid-point or $230,000.
