Director of Engineering |
The Water Employee Services Authority (WESA) is conducting a regional search for the position Director of Engineering. Ideal candidates must have a proven track record of proactive, hands-on, participative management experience and possess excellent interpersonal, problem solving, communication, leadership, and financial management skills. This position will report to the General Manager and is responsible for all functions of the Department of Engineering including planning, design and construction of all District facilities, operation of the water system, information technology, and document management services and activities.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required with major course work in the areas of civil engineering or a related field with advanced courses in water resources, water and waste water processes, and environmental engineering. A Master's degree in a related field is highly desirable. Requires a minimum of ten years progressively responsible management experience, with at least five years in a senior executive position. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is required.Compensation:
In addition to a great place to work and make a difference the Director of Engineering position offers a salary range up to $149, 947 dependent upon qualifications and experience of the selected candidate with an excellent benefits package that includes:

- PERS 2.7% @ 55 Retirement
- Car allowance: $600 per month
