The ideal candidate
for the position of Water & Power Operations Manager for this award
winning district will be a highly organized, decisive
and innovative leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be committed to providing leadership that will inspire,
motivate, and empower a staff of 75 to achieve established goals. This
person must instill a culture that maximizes both staff and advanced
technology resources. This top individual will have significant experience
focused in the water utility industry, either public sector or through
a private organization. Specific experience dealing with a hydroelectric
facility is not required. This at-will position reports to the General
Manager and requires a minimum of eight (8) years experience with at
least three (3) years in a management capacity. Strong project management
skills are essential. Bachelor’s degree is required. Salary is
dependent upon qualifications with excellent benefits including CalPERS
(2.7% @ 55) retirement (District pays both sides) plus retiree healthcare.
