This is an exciting
opportunity for a dynamic and well-qualified Human Resources professional
to assume the leadership position to manage the Recruitment and Assessment
Services Unit. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director, the Assistant
Deputy Director oversees the city-wide Civil Service examination program,
leads Civil Service reform projects and manages designated teams within
the Recruitment and Assessment Services Unit. The successful candidate
will be an effective communicator and decision maker with a reputation
for excellence. Must be highly motivated to succeed and contribute to
a robust and vibrant organization. Competitive salary of $100,906 –
$128,752 plus benefits. Appointments above
the maximum of the normal range may be considered for highly qualified
candidates.The City offers a retirement plan to full-time employees through the San Francisco Employee's Retirement System (SFERS), a non-CALPERS plan.
