The County of Sacramento, California is seeking an experienced, hands-on Administrator with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. This at-will executive level position reports to the County Executive, and oversees 5,800 employees with an operating budget of $1.6 billion in a county with a population of approximately 1.4 million. The Administrator, Countywide Services Agency is responsible for management and control of ten key departments – approximately 80% of this agency’s responsibility is in Health and Human Services. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, operations management or a similar field is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have five years (5) of senior executive management experience. The salary range for this exempt position is up to $199,320 per year with an excellent benefits package including car allowance. Placement in this salary range will depend on qualifications and experience.
