The Board of Directors
is seeking a well-rounded administrator to oversee the delivery of services
to this growing community (population 14,000) located in Kern County.
This at-will executive level position reports to a five-member governing
board and is responsible for the overall administration of this special
district for service delivery, operations and capital projects. Services
to the community include water, wastewater as well as parks and recreation.
This is an exciting opportunity that welcomes an experienced manager
that also has successful strategic planning and long-range visioning
skills to assist in ensuring sustainable solutions and address priority
concerns of the District. The Board will offer a mutually agreeable
employment contract with the selected candidate. Salary for the position
will be dependent upon qualifications and be based on the candidate’s
