Located in southern Santa Clara Valley, Morgan Hill (population 40,000) is a prosperous community surrounded by the Santa Cruz mountain range to the west and the Diablo mountain range on the eastern boundary. This newly created ACM position reflects the City Leadership’s desire for a strong focus on the assimilation of five key functional areas (Strategic Planning & Economic Development; Development Services; Engineering & Utilities; Housing; and Redevelopment) with the development of this super agency structure. Requires Bachelor’s degree; Masters degree strongly desired with significant career experience in multiple stated areas including management/leadership of staff, budget responsibility and organizational management skills. This at-will employment opportunity includes salary to $170,220 plus outstanding benefits including CalPERS (2.5@55 with single highest year), auto allowance, deferred compensation, moving and relocation allowance plus modest housing assistance.
