The services provided by the Finance Department include sewer utility billing, revenue, purchasing, and accounts payable. The Department has a staff of 18 employees, including an Assistant Director of Finance. Major responsibilities include oversight of the overall City financial activities, internal auditing, budget preparation, accounting, purchasing, and revenue collection. The FY 2018 budget has a General Fund budget of $191.7 million and an all funds budget of $453 million. Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in finance, public administration, business administration, or a related field and ten years of increasingly responsible finance experience, including three years of management and administrative responsibility. Experience in municipal finance is highly desired. The salary range is $126,541 – $165,770 and the successful candidate will receive an excellent executive benefit package.
