The City Engineer for the City of Ceres (population 42,000) reports to the Community Development Director and manages the Engineering Division. The City Engineer is responsible for transportation/traffic, construction administration and inspection, capital improvement project development/design, and current development engineering. Candidates should have a working knowledge of land development engineering principles as well as the practices of engineering as applied to public works projects, utilities or building construction projects including planning, development, design, and construction. Salary up to $114,696 with excellent benefits package including the Stanislaus County Retirement 1937 Act and auto allowance.
