The Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) is seeking an Interim Risk Manager in advance of their search for a full-time Risk Manager. The interim assignment will begin in September and conclude with the selection of the full-time Risk Manager anticipated in late 2009. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. A Master’s degree is highly desirable. This position is ideally suited to a former public sector finance director, risk manager or other executive. Interest and appointment to the interim position does not exclude pursuit of the full-time position. Compensation based on the salary range provided for the full-time position.
